The Island County Community Resource Center at Opportunity Council is dedicated to serving all individuals and families making Island County their home.
Public Health delivers essential services to improve health and well-being in Island County, including: new baby support, breastfeeding support, access to baby & child dentistry, and nutrition support.
Island County Human Services is an accessible and responsive community resource, working collaboratively to help meet the essential needs of the people of Island County, including: behavioral health & housing support services, developmental disabilities support for children from birth to 3, and support for families caring for children with disabilities and/or special healthcare needs.
From childbirth and throughout your entire life, WhidbeyHealth provides residents and visitors a safety net when emergencies happen and peace of mind knowing our team is standing by 24/7 to respond to your needs. Services include: emergency medical & urgent care services, family birthplace, nutrition therapy, behavioral health, primary care, and women's care.
The Community Resource Center of Stanwood Camano has a variety of educational programs and support services for families, teens, and seniors. Programs include playgroups, parenting classes, kindergarten readiness programs, teen programs, community events, and assistance for basic needs such as housing, food, and utilities.
The Family Resource Center is a drop-in location at the South Whidbey Community Center. Parents and caregivers are welcome and encouraged to visit. We can help with connections to local resources like food and other essential needs. We also work very closely with schools and can support your kids' school experience.
